1. Description

LT9711UX is a high performance Dual-Port MIPI DPHY/CPHY to DP1.4 converter.
For MIPI DPHY input, LT9711UX can be configured as 2 Ports and 1/2/4 lanes per port. Up to 12dB equalization makes it suitable for long distance application and the maximum bandwidth is up to 36Gbps.
For MIPI CPHY input, LT9711UX has 6 data lanes up to 3.5Gsps per data lane, it can be configured as 1/2/3/4 ports. The maximum equalization is 12dB and the maximum bandwidth is up to 47.88Gbps.
For DP1.4a/ eDP1.5 output, it consists of 4 data lanes, supporting 1.62Gbps, 2.7Gbps, 5.4Gbps and 8.1Gbps link rate. The build-in optional SSC function reduces EMI effect. It allow for the highest resolutions of 4K@144Hz or 8K@60Hz with compression data.
In order to be adaptable to the latest USB Type-C system, LT9711UX integrates CC logic and PD controller to relieve mobile system design complexity and BOM cost.
Two digital audio input interfaces are available, I2S and SPDIF. The I2S interface supports 8-ch LPCM and the SPDIF interface supports 2-ch LPCM or compressed audio, both at maximum 192 KHz sample rate.
The device is capable of automatic operation which is enabled by an integrated microprocessor that uses an embedded SPI flash for firmware storage. System control is also available through the configuration I2C slave interface.
